There is something to be said about a family owned and operated business that you just cannot get from a corporate run business: flexibility, polite manners and reliability. It's their business, their reputation on the line.I was looking for a car service last minute, the night before my flight yesterday, to take me from La Guardia to a friend's home 1 1/2 hrs away in Montgomery. I called CAR24. Mike was super prompt in returning my text at 11:00pm, assured me he had availability and we'd touch base in the morning. True to his word, we booked the car in the morning and he gave me a very competitive rate. Didn't tack on last minute fees. Done, texted confirmation number. Gave me name of my driver, Allison, who touched base 5 min later with her cell number. Super prompt, funny and friendly, riding with Allison was a pleasure. A key thing to note: take your cues from the client. She didn't start chatting until I did.I'm from New Orleans and work in the hospitality industry there, handling conventions with 10,000-30,000 in attendance. I book about 250 private car service for clients a year. There are a few key things that are expected from a private car service that are unbendable: reliability, communication, cleanliness and polite manners in drivers, who understand it's not about them it's about the client. Likewise from a client: tip the driver and tip in cash. If you get good service, show it by tipping more than 20% of the fare. In our industry, there is nothing worse than a rude passenger and a bad tipper.Home run for CAR24. Allison even stopped at CVS so I could run in and grab something.Thank you!!! MaryBeth

Huge shout out to Mike at Car24! After a nightmare of an experience using a Zipcar to get to Woodbury Commons from Brooklyn, my friends and I found ourselves stranded waiting for a tow service. There were 0 Ubers, Lyfts, and Junos available in the area and we were starting to freak out at 9:30 pm how we were going to get back to the city. I called Mike and he was at our rescue in 15 minutes! Great guy, great conversation and he got us home safe and sound. That said, should I find myself in Upstate NY again, I won't even bother looking into any other service than Car24!

If you're in the area and need airport transportation (or other) Mike with Car24 is an excellent choice. I booked a ride in less than 24 hours and he was professional, personable and most of all- prompt. Too bad we will be leaving soon as I wish I'd found this service sooner. Will definitely recommend to friends here. For those on base at West Point, he has access and no longer do you have to depend on unprofessional taxi companies or suffer from the lack of rideshare services. Give this service a try for your transportation needs; you won't be disappointed!

We have used Car 24, Mike, several times for traveling to and from Kennedy Airport. He is always prompt, enjoyable to talk to, a great driver, and his fares are reasonable. We highly recommend Car 54.
